"Are you a conveyancing paralegal looking to join an unprecedented team environment?"

About you

Our client is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic conveyancing paralegal ready to take the next step in their career.  If you are looking for a change, are eager to join a futuristic conveyancing practice, with an incredible team culture, then look no further! If you enjoy working in a team where you can learn, and where your career pathway matters, then our client would like to hear about you!

The successful candidate will have a passion for delivering high levels of service along with knowledge of the conveyancing processes from start to finish.  In addition to this, you will be able to demonstrate impeccable time management skills, the ability to independently prioritise your work, high attention to detail, and proven foresight for identifying potential issues and resolving them prior to settlement.

You must have the ability to develop warm and strong relationships in person and over the phone with your clients and other stakeholders in the conveyancing process. You will be highly computer literate and preferably have experience with legal practice management software.

Whilst you will be provided with ample support from an exceptional conveyancing manager, legal director, and award winning business director as often as needed, you must enjoy working independently and taking ownership of your work and using your initiative.

The LadyBird Group

The founders of this exciting boutique conveyancing practice are no strangers to the legal industry or to running a successful business. One of the directors is the founder of a successful and multi-award winning firm within the financial services sector, which has operated for 13 years. The other is the founder of an extremely successful Brisbane/Gold Coast based law firm. This success has filtered through to their conveyancing business with strong business growth meaning there is a need for another conveyancing paralegal to join the team due to an internal transfer.

The firm values are based around the pillars of exceptional customer service, integrity and professionalism. A progressive HR and knowledge management strategy means that all team members receive comprehensive training and ongoing mentorship directly from the conveyancing manager and directors.

But, the most notable attribute is the team atmosphere and the way the owners include their team members! So much so that the Group have an extraordinarily high retention of the team members we have recruited over the last 6 years! Once you join, you won't want to leave thanks to benefits such as an annual team weekend away, quarterly peer awards program, annual bonus structure aligned to TEAM goals, a number of team functions, weekly morning teas…. The list goes on and on!

The role

Working alongside our Conveyancing Manager you will be expected to:

  • Ensure there is professional, open and effective communication between the business, customers and all other key stakeholders during the settlement process.

  • Provide effective support to the Conveyancing Manager and work within a team of 9 others! This includes working with the Relationship Manager, Conveyancing Assistants and fellow Conveyancing Officers (Paralegals) to ensure all settlements run smoothly.

  • Collaborate with your Conveyancing Assistants to manage and organise a large conveyancing file load from A to Z, right up to and including arranging settlements.

  • Proactively identify continual improvement opportunities for the conveyancing process and precedent development as required.

The benefits

  • An innovative and progressive firm with a dynamic culture.

  • New corporate offices with ample car parking and cutting edge technology.

  • Generous remuneration and financial rewards.

  • Opportunity for career growth within a rapidly expanding organisation.
